A 25-Bore Dutch Flintlock Holster Pistol

With lightly belled sighted brass barrel cast and chased with foliage at the breech and struck with the Utrecht mark, grooved iron tang, signed and engraved flat bevelled brass lock with stepped tail, moulded lightly carved figured walnut full stock (butt repaired), fluted fore-end (mostly replaced), cast and chased brass mounts including elaborately pierced side-plate involving a portrait bust and profile grotesque heads, pierced escutcheon with crown above, and spurred pommel with grotesque mask cap, and later turned brass ramrod-pipes and wooden ramrod (some wear and pitting throughout)
