With rebrowned twist octagonal sighted barrel signed in full on the top flat, back-sight with three folding leaves, engraved patent breech with pierced platinum plug, scroll engraved tang, signed scroll engraved lock with safety-catch (hammer replaced), figured walnut half-stock (fore-end with minor repairs), rechequered grip, scroll engraved steel mounts including hinged patch-box cover, silver shield-shaped escutcheon engraved with later monogram, horn fore-end cap, set trigger, and associated brass-tipped ramrod with worm, Birmingham proof marks
