Two Pairs Of English Silver Spurs
The first pair with London silver hallmarks for 1840, the second pair late 18th Century
The first with slender straight-sided heel-bands, the terminals with studs, one carrying a silver buckle, and short slender upcurved necks with small multi-pointed iron rowels, each engraved inside with the inscription 'The Marquis of Worcester from E.J.E. 1841'; the second with wide flat heel-bands, the front halves of the straight sides formed of chainwork bands terminating in studs, the outer one carrying a silver buckle, short straight slightly up-sloped necks with small star-shaped rowels, and each engraved inside with the initials (?) 'I.M.'
