Early 17th Century
Of bright steel and great weight and thickness, comprising two articulated main plates, one narrow and the other extending over the front and back of the shoulder, and five articulated plates covering the upper arm as far as the elbow, the edges bordered by a single engraved line, with domed iron lining-rivets throughout (releathered throughout)
