A wakizashi in shirasaya,
the very straight blade with copper habaki incised with driving rain -- 19¾in. (50.2cm.) long, signed Nagamune, Circa 1600; and an aichuchi in shirasaya, with choji hamon and copper habaki -- 12in. (30.5cm.) long, unsigned, 19th Century, (old wear). See Colour Plate 2. (2)
