A George III painted torchere
The circular top above a moulded edge and fluted frieze, on rectangular tapering supports joined by a concave-sided undertier centred by a turned shaft with vase-shaped upper section, on a turned and moulded base, originally supporting a candelabrum

Provenance
David Vicary.
David Vicary originally trained as an architect and worked in the offices of Sir Basil Spence and Denis Lennon. In 1960 he opened his own office in The Brompton Road, London, SW7. See lot 324.
