An unusual 23cm. diameter metal terrestrial table globe, made up of twelve chromolithographed gores and two polar calottes laid on a hollow metal sphere, the equatorial and prime meridian, running through Ferro graduated in degrees, the ecliptic graduated in days of the houses of the Zodiac with sigils, the oceans showing ocean currents, the continents with some nation states delicately coloured in outline in red, orange and yellow and showing rivers, mountains, cities and towns (surface abrasions and discolourations, but not too serious and generally consistent) with a stamped brass meridian circle and a papered metal horizon ring, graduated in degrees and days of the month and of the Zodiac, with compass directions, raised on two curved metal quadrant supports to an ebonised baluster turned pillar and plinth base
