(9.5 x 6 cm.), on original card mounts, the majority with photographer's credits on mounts, titled in ink and many with later typescript title labels in French on the reverse, loosely inserted in modern album
The majority showing ladies and children of the Rana court in half-figure portraits emphasising the elaborate hair arrangements and often showing fine jewellery. A few other subjects include a gentleman identified as Sir J. Wolseley, the King of Bavaria and three studies of elephants. (107)
