Painted with a scene of a woman seated on a balcony watching the departure of two scholars on horseback accompanied by their attendants, one holding a fan, one a cloth-wrapped qin and another a cloth-wrapped package, while an attendant on the balcony rolls a bamboo blind, with a fourteen-character inscription, all below foliate sprays on the waisted neck
