In the 17th Century style, inlaid overall with foliate marquetry, the rectangular case flanked by Corinthean columns and surmounted by a pierced gallery with flaming urn finials, the brown velvet dial with a brass chapter ring with Roman numerals and supported by the figure of Father Time, the movement with silk-suspended pendulum, outside countwheel and strike on a bell, minor losses to the inlay and the mouldings
