An Empire ormolu mantel clock
The circular white-enamelled Romain dial within a beaded bezel and a rectangular case mounted with laurel wreaths and floral garlands, the movement with silk-suspended pendulum, outside countwheel and strike on a bell, flanked by a youth in Grecian tunic playing the flute, and a hound by the other side surmounted by a musical trophy, the frieze centred by a cherub within a floral garland and flanked by oak and laurel-leaf sprays, above a spreading foliate border and a plinth base, on inverted cup-shaped feet, probably re-gilt, lacking pendulum
