The circular top inlaid with an outer border of rectangular panels framing an inner border of shaped rectangular panels around a central circular medallion of a bird on a tree stump and a butterfly surrounded by small ovals, the marble including lapis lazuli, red griotte, jasper, siana marble, pietra paesina and brocattello di Spagna, on a stand with four reeded columned legs joined by a cross-stretcher
