A Franco Flemish rosewood and brass-bound travelling writing chest or cabinet, late 17th/early 18th century and later
On later stand, the hinged top with a fall front and sides with fleurs de lys brass mounts and corners, having a fall front with later leather lined panel inside, enclosing a fitted interior with pigeon holes and eight drawers below, with a frieze drawer above, applied with boss ornament and later candle branches above, having carrying handles to the side
the cabinet -- 29in. (74cm.) wide, 20½in. (52cm.) deep, 21½in. (54.5cm.) high
the stand -- 28in. (71cm.) high

Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate on the Friday following the sale and every weekday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE TO PURCHASERS WHO COLLECT THEIR LOTS WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE SALE.
On the Thursday one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.20 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
