A German walnut and marquetry architectural table cabinet, late 17th century, probably North German
With moulded cornice and frieze, possibly later and canted projecting interior fitted with a sliding interior, concealing secret drawers to the sides, enclosed by a recessed arched mulberry veneered panel door with stellar and parquetry inlay, applied with engraved steel hinges and locking plate, surrounded by ten ripple moulded and oval panel drawers, one with ripple mouldings replaced and enclosed by a pair of inlaid architectural panel doors with parquetry floors heightened in ivory, with steel engraved locks and locking device and flanked by columns with foliate brackets below, containing a drawer below, the sides inlaid with stellar parquetry designs, on later moulded base, with renewal and replacements

Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate on the Friday following the sale and every weekday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE TO PURCHASERS WHO COLLECT THEIR LOTS WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE SALE.
On the Thursday one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.20 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
