Manuscript on gold-sprinkled dark cream paper, 355ff, with 15ll. of black naskh, gold roundels between verses, sura headings in blue or white naskh on gold panels with blue spandrels, opening gold and polychrome illuminated bifolio followed by similar bifolio with sura al-fatiha in black on gold cartouches, following sura with illuminated heading and floral margins, the end of the Qur'an followed by prayer in gold, the lines separatted by panels of blue arabesques, final illuminated bifolio with erroneous attribution to Abdallah Tabagh and date, all illuminated areas retouched, staining, in binding composed of 16th century boards with later doublures, probably 19th century
