worked in silks and metal threads with a meandering vine bearing sprays of pink, white and lilac flowers, the field embroidered at either end with a Tugra flanked by pairs of crescent moons and stars, (stains), Turkish for export, 1860's--60cm x 252cm; and a bocha of yellow silk, embroidered with alternating red and blue flowersprays, (wear), Ottoman, 19th century--105cm square
