of fine muslin, embroidered in green silks and metal threads with a border of leaves, each corner with a bouquet of flowers tied with a bow, Ottoman--96cm square; a shaped fragment of embroidered muslin, worked in gilt threads and silks with elegant serpentine stems bearing a variety of flowers amongst scrolling leaves--74cm x 114cm maximum; and two smaller fragments, Ottoman for export, 19th century; and an embroidered panel, worked in shades of red with geometric birds and trees around a central star, Rhodes--53cm x 57cm
