As a Rococo style urn with acanthus corona and handles hung with floral pendants, centred on each side by an enamelled dial signed RAINGO FRES/A PARIS, the shaped base mounted with a pair of maidens leaning against an upturned urn, each with a spray of flowers, the front and back centred by floral festoons, on scrolled acanthus feet
