A Fine Pair Of 30-Bore German Silver-Mounted Flintlock Holster Pistols

With swamped three-stage reblued barrels with gilt mouldings and engraved and gilt foliate decoration, silver fore-sights, and slotted mouldings at the rear of the breeches, gold-lined touch-holes, shaped tangs cut with strapwork against a gilt fish-roe ground and engraved with a portrait bust, signed rounded locks each with moulded border, gilt screw-heads, blued pan, top jaw and screw, and steel-spring, moulded finely figured walnut full stocks each carved in relief with foliage behind the barrel tang, full silver mounts including foliate side-plates, the pommels each engraved 'No 7', the foliate escutcheons engraved with crowned owner's initial 'L', baluster ramrod-pipes, dark horn fore-end caps, and original horn-tipped ramrods, preserved in very fine little used condition
