A Qajar white metal nargileh base
19th Century
inset with seven coco-de-mer carved foliate panels to the centre, incised decorated with figural circular medallions interspersed with birds amongst foliage, under a rope-twist interwoven band to the neck, set on a tripod stand, the scrolling supports with lion-head terminals holding rings in their mouths -- 11¾in. (29.8cm.) high, (minor damages, old wear).
