of baluster form on spreading trumpet foot, engraved with bands of calligraphy above further bands of birds set within roundels, wild beasts , and overlapping petals, the shaped handle engraved with scrolling foliage and lion head terminal -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) high, (old damages and wear).
