Lot Essay

Rare original ticket stub issued for the game played at Comiskey Park which was won by Cincinnati. Conspirator Lefty Williams took the mound for Chicago and held the Reds scoreless through (5) innings before a series of fielding blunders, involving players in on "the fix", allowed for (4) runs in the 6th inning. Desirable stub displays well despite mild wear and some scattered discoloration. There are none graded higher: PSA VG-EX 4
