Lot Essay

Rare original ticket stub issued for the game played at Comiskey Park which was won by Cincinnati. Conspirator Lefty Williams took the mound for Chicago and held the Reds scoreless through (5) innings before a series of fielding blunders, involving players in on "the fix", allowed for (4) runs in the 6th inning. Desirable stub offers strong eye appeal with bold print. Touch of light wear evident when viewing from the front and mounting residue on back accounts for technical downgrade: PSA FR 1.5
