The irregularly shaped sentoku plate partly in tsuchime-ji, decorated in iroe takazogan with a foreigner and lady, the reverse with a procession of hunters in low relief, with a horizontal base extending from the bottom of the plate

The artist is a younger brother of Namekawa Sadakatsu who was a student of Hagiya Katsuhira, Namekawa Taian for painting and later of Unno
Shomin.
