A RARE EXPORT HEXAGONAL 'EUROPEAN-SUBJECT' JARDINIERE AND STAND
Circa 1800-1810
Decorated on the exterior in sepia on a pale salmon ground with a continuous scene: on two sides with two figures in conversation, two other sides with European buildings, and on two sides with trees and rockwork, the stand in similar tones with wispy trees and gentle hills above short bracket feet, the everted rims with stylised key-pattern, the jardinière with rim chip, the stand repaired
