The hinged and sliding rectangular top with central hinged gilt-tooled leather-lined writing-surface enclosing a plain interior with a rectangular mirror within a moulded frame, each side with hinged flaps each enclosing a hinged, removable deep mahogany-lined tray, above a long panelled frieze drawer enclosing a sliding surface, flanked by simulated short drawers and with two short panelled drawers to each side, flanked by stop-fluted uprights, on turned tapering legs, brass caps and castors, remounted, the hinges and lock plates replaced, the side flaps previously with clips to secure central panel, stamped 'FEURSTEIN' & 'JME' twice
