Unsigned, Edo period (18th century)
Of a tako [octopus], wearing a Kamishimo, a ceremonial garment worn by the warrior class, an inro modelled as an awabi shell and a netsuke made from a conical shell hanging from the sash, its tentacles raised to hold a shell
