A Koike Yoshiro school tsuba, the circular iron plate pierced with six kikyo flowerheads in ko-sukashi and yo-sukashi and decorated with shinchu zogan of foliage, mimi with shinchu fukurin, unsigned, 3¼in. (8.3cm.), thickness 4mm, 17th century; an Echizen Kogitsune tsuba, the small kawari gata iron plate depicting a dragon among waves in sukidashi bori, kawari square mimi, signed Echizen ju Kogitsune saku kore, 18th century, 2 1/8in. (5.6cm.) thickness approx. 5mm.; a Heianjo tsuba the circular iron plate decorated in brass hirazogan with flowers, plants and symbols of thunder, dote mimi and udenuki ana, unsigned, 16th century, 2½in. (6.3cm.), mimi 4mm; a Heianjo tsuba, the iron plate depicting two lobsters in takabori and brass takazogan, the reverse similarly decorated with deer among scattered maple leaves, square mimi, unsigned, late 16th/early 17th century, 2¾in.
