An Extensive Group of Civil Uniform
A tin trunk, containing the fine and very complete uniform of Sir Felix Cassel Bt KC c.1922, as follows: a superb Full Dress coatee of the 2nd Class, with tailor's label of Henry Poole &Co inscribed Sir Felix Cassel Bt KC 1922, richly embroidered and with saw-tooth edging; a good Levée Dress coatee, also by H. Poole, with cuff embroidery 4½in. deep and straight edging indicating 1st Class; a pair of white Kerseymere knee-breeches in exceptionally good condition, complete with gilt buckles; a good pair of Levée Dress trousers, with 2¼in. gold oakleaf lace stripes; a bicorne hat, also by H.Poole, with white ostrich feather border and a triple bullion loop; fine regulation sword, the blade etched with foliate decoration and name of H. Poole, richly-gilt hilt, gold lace sword-knot with bullion tassel complete with chamois leather slip and black oil-skin outer cover; a pair of court shoes complete with gilt buckles; a good pair of half-Wellington boots; two cloth sword-frogs (one white, one blue), a white shirt and some stiff collars; two pairs of white hose; a good double-breasted blue great-coat by Henry Poole, with black velvet collar, scarlet lining and gilt Royal Arms buttons
