A 'VENETIAN' ENAMELLED GOBLET
19th Century
The flared bucket bowl with everted upper part enamelled in shades of green, ochre, iron-red and white with a continuous band of four putti, their bodies enriched in flesh tints, holding swags of laurel and standing on a grassy sward, beneath a gilt scale border enriched with enamel dots, the base to the bowl applied with a pincered band, the vertically ribbed triple-knop stem and high conical foot with traces of granular gilding and with an upturned folded rim, (crack through base of bowl)
