On plain flat silver-gilt footrim, domed flower panelled rim above, the body with reeded gilt band and decorated with raised classical scene of four figures in landscape with house and camel, the foliate scroll gilt handle with cupid's bust and bifurcated thumbpiece, the domed cover with raised bust of an Emperor within gilt laurel band and panelled flower rim
