A PAIR OF GEORGE II GILT-GESSO MIRRORS
Each with later divided, arched bevelled rounded rectangular plate engraved with flowers in the upper section and in a moulded frame with flowerhead inner border and gadrooned outer border, below a pierced swan-neck cresting with rockwork cartouche centre and carved on a pounced ground with elongated leaves, the sides with tasselled drapery and with waved apron centred by a scallop-shell, regilt, the drapery of the sides possibly of later date
