The oval top banded in satinwood and inlaid with laurel, the main field with an oval medallion of palms and acanthus, above a frieze drawer to one end, on rhomboid-sectional tapering legs, brass caps and leather castors, the drawer painted '10167'

Messrs. A. Hepplewhite & Co.'s The Cabinet-Maker and Upholsterer's Guide, 1788 issued a related pattern for an oval-topped and medallion-centred pembroke table with laurel-wreathed border, and noted that it was 'Proper for tops, inlaid, or painted and varnished' (pl. 63).
