WARRABILLA
Winemaker, Andrew Sutherland Smith, entered his 1997 Shiraz in a tasting of great Aussie wines in Minneapolis, hosted by Wine Spectator in 1998. It won the tasting beating all the big names - and caused quite a stir. Andrew is also regarded as one of the best producers of Petite Syrah, or 'Durif', as it is known in Australia. Production is very limited.
