A PAIR OF ROMAN GREEN GLASS AND GOLD EARRINGS
Circa 2nd-3rd Century A.D.
Each composed of a hoop of flattened wires twisted together, a loop at one end, tapering at the other, joined to a drop-shaped sheet with a bezel-set blue glass framed by two twisted beaded wires, the hoop threaded with a pendant composed of a sheet cylinder with beaded wire along the seam, terminating in two hollow balls, with granules along the join of the two balls and at the base
