painted by Zachariah Boreman with a vignette of figures before a river landscape within a blue-line roundel entwined with gilt leaves, below a further blue-line band between two bands of gilt enclosing gilt ovolos, puce painted mark, pattern number 86 and gilder's 3, Wm. Duesbury & Co., circa 1790 (light rubbing to gilding and minor scratches to enamel)
