An informal robe of magenta satin,
finely embroidered with ten roundels depicting peacocks and other exotic birds in ornamental gardens, the ground scattered with birds, butterflies and flowers, the ivory satin sleevebands worked with similar motifs within a gilt thread fret-work lattice, mid 19th century; and another informal robe of black satin embroidered with bird roundels, circa 1900
