A Chelsea figure of a gallant Circa 1760, gold anchor mark
Modelled standing playing the bagpipes, wearing green tricorn, pink frock-coat, flowered waistcoat and breeches, with flowering trees behind him and a dog crouched at his feet, the flower-encrusted base with three scroll feet (restoration to hat, hands, instrument and dog, other minor chips)
