Modelled with the seated Virgin Mary wearing a long yellow-edged mantle from Her crown and a yellow-edged manganese dress, the crowned dead Christ draped over Her lap, His body spattered with blood, the Virgin supporting His head with Her right hand, on a shaped oval blue cloud base (minute fritting to extremities, flaking to Her crown, small chip to fold of dress, slight chipping to edge of base, three cracks from base)
