A Castelli maiolica rectangular plaque
Circa 1745
Painted in the Grue workshop with a beggar in a ragged long coat kneeling before two finely dressed gentlemen, two other gentlemen nearby behind him, one holding a opened box, each standing a long thin shaped rectangular green panel edged with scrolls and foliage, within a brown and ochre line border, pierced at the top for suspension (pitting to lower right hand corner)
