A well engineered single cylinder hopper cooled open crank petrol engine,
the cylinder 1¼in. bore x 1½in. stroke, atmospheric inlet valve, cast connecting rod with marine type big end, crankshaft mounted in split brasses in frame incorporated trunnions, gear driven camshaft with pushrod operated exhaust valve, carburettor, silencer, condenser, twin spoked flywheels, shaft governor, belt pulley and fuel tank, finished in maroon and polished brightwork, the frame with label stamped 'Associated about 1/3rd scale 1978 Dick Shelley Manheim PA', wood plinth with switch and coil --13¼ x 17in. (33.7 x 43.2cm.)
