Details
A well engineered 3½in. gauge model of the LNER 4-6-2 locomotive and tender No. 1551 Hielan Lassie,
built by T.Haynes with brazed superheated copper boiler, stamped No. 1518, built by Stuart Models Limited and with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle, snifting, clack and blow down valves. Chassis details include three cylinders with independent sets of Walscheart's valve gear, fluted connecting and coupling rods, mechanical lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, injector and whistle. Tender details include hand operated brake gear, hand feed pump, water cock, steps and hand irons, finished in LNER livery and lining --10¼ x 55½in. (26 x 141cm.). Boiler certificate dated 26.01.1989. Firing irons. Fitted carrying boxes.
