A finely engineered 3½in. gauge model of the BR Class 4-6-2 locomotive and tender No. 70000 Britannia,
with brazed superheated copper boiler and fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle and clack valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear, fluted connecting and coupling rods, cab controlled draincocks, mechanical lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, injector, whistle, dummy brake gear, riveting and firebox washout plugs and other details. Tender details include hand feed pump, hand operated brake gear, ladder, steps and hand irons, finished in BR green livery and lining -- 10½ x 50½.in. (26.5 x 128.5cm.). Display stand.
