A French porcelain-mounted silvered and brass petite sonnerie carriage clock with alarm

The anglaise riche case with stepped and moulded top and pilasters to the angles, mounted with porcelain panels to the sides and rear, painted respectively with a gentleman and two ladies in Renaissance costume, each on a gilt ground raised with stylised flowerheads, within borders of two-tone blue and crimson, the conforming dial also painted with the figures of a lady and a gentleman, with Roman chapters against painted royal blue cartouches, the centre decorated with musical and martial attributes, with blued steel hands, with alarm ring below, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat/alarm on two gongs to the backplate numbered 1302
