The case with beaded mounts to the concave moulded top, the dial embellished above with a ribbon tie centred with a hanging pendant simulating a suspended dial with oromlu drapes below, the concave footed base on ormolu block feet, glazed beaded circular bezel to the white enamel Roman and Arabic dial signed L. LeRoy & Cie. Paris 13 Galerie Montpensier & 15 Palais-Royale, elaborately pierced ormolu hands with counter-balanced minute hand, the movement with rectangular plates and four back-pinned pillars, five wheel train with going barrel, the torsion escapement with bimetallic compensated balance wheel suspended below from a flat steel strip, the back-plate engraved No. 15924
