A two-piece outfit, the round-necked long-sleeved collarless top and pleated skirt of chocolate, emerald, blue and fuschia striped silk with a sash of chocolate moiré silk, both skirt and top with Saint Laurent, Rive Gauche, Paris labels; and five colour snap-shots of Fonteyn wearing the outfit at dinner with Robert Helpmann, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Japanese dancers and others, each -- 3¼x4½in. (8.3x11.3cm.); and a full-length evening skirt of scarlet chiffon printed with purple and white poppies and decorated with a frill and matching sash, the skirt with Saint Laurent, Rive Gauche, Paris label; and a corresponding Yves Saint Laurent printed costume sketch with coloured graphite details and fabric swatch attached -- 13x8¾in.
