An haute couture full-length sleeveless evening dress of ivory chiffon, the bodice embroidered with large flowerheads in champagne coloured floss silks and decorated with horizontal bands of clear beads, the neckline embellished by a delicate line of small silver sequins and beads, the dress with matching chiffon train, the dress with Yves Saint Laurent label, numbered 37810 (numbering indistinct); accompanied by a corresponding photograph by Anthony Crickmay of Dame Margot Fonteyn wearing the ensemble on stage at a Friends of Covent Garden, Christmas Party, circa early 1970s -- 9¾x8in.
