Each decorated after a design of the artist Cornelis Pronk commissioned by the Dutch East India Co. showing a group of Chinese ladies around a topiary arbor growing with roses, children at one side and ducks in a pond in the foreground, all within an elaborate green-ground border with insect, flowers and fruit panels, on the backs a purple and iron-red lambrequin border
