Circa 1780, probably Seth Pennington's factory
Of inverted pear shape with domed cover and knop finial, painted with vignettes of Chinese immortals and with Kakiemon flowers within palm-leaf moulded arches, the cover rim and shoulder with foliate scrolls, the lower portion moulded and enriched in turquoise and puce with stiff leaf tips
