The platter of shaped oval form with gilt dentil rim and gilt well edge, the border with the Roosevelt arms above the motto Qui plantavit curabit; the plate with gilt-line rim, the border with a gilt Roosevelt crest of three feathers above a beaded baton and the helmet from a suit of armor
